All things Living, All Things Dead: Lake Texcoco is comprised by two distinct collections of evidence found on this disappeared lake’s terrains: on one hand, the Animist Museum of Lake Texcoco, which is a collection of material traces from failed projects and acts of abandonment, all belonging to the lake’s soil; on the other hand, the Encyclopedia of Things Living and Dead, which gathers aspects from the basin’s intangible realm (such realm holding equally political, social, historical, and affective dimensions).
